The book continues his focus on strengthening families, this time through helping couples build stronger marriages.Patalinghug (on Twitter @Cooking_Priest) said that through his own research and his experience as a priest, he found that stronger and happier families spring from a common source: happy marriages.Im not saying a child cant be happy when raised by one parent or in a nontraditional home, he said, but when Mom and Dad are loving toward each other, children are generally happier.Spicing Up Married Life, comprising 12 chapters, is designed to lead couples through a monthly discussion of their marriage. The book begins with Love at First Sight and ends with Til Death Do Us Part, with chapters focusing on the proposal, the wedding day, and even the in-laws in between. The chapters are based on ritual marriage vows and each includes readings, discussion questions and prayers, as well as three recipes: a main course, a side and a dessert.
